AxisVM is a modern finite element program that was developed and optimized specifically for civil engineers. AxisVM is the result of over 20 years of software engineering experience, in cooperation with leading academicians and famous specialists. The software allows static, dynamic, linear and nonlinear analysis of plane and spatial structures.

Applications

With AxisVM a complex structure consisting of individual components can be calculated as one. Thus, the calculations is caried out on support members of storeys as well as the complete structure through the fundations by means of the integrated load transfer mechanism. If changes are made to the geometry, then the object properties of the support members adjust to automatically get, for instance, changes in load positions. This approach is extremely accurate and provides an optimal visual control during model editing.

An important advantage of this method in the overall model is that for every change only the changed part of the model is read and then recalculated. In this case, the altered object properties such as a modified plate thickness, a new column diameter or the lack of supports is considered automatically during the generation of static overall model.

Visual Modeling - VM

The defining characteristic of AxisVM by Technosoft - making it so ideal for civil engineers - is the integrated Visual Modeler (VM), in which the 3D model of the structure can be created with the least possible effort. The visual design allows working in all phases of the model: input and generation, calculation and interpretation of results in an extremely user-friendly and fully graphical environment preserving the full graphical control of all data and processes.

Another important feature in addition to the visual modeler is the ease of learning and the pleasant, completely mouse controllable user interface.
